I have personally been involved in the Okanagan Bridal Expo since its inception in 2012. This will be the third year for me, and the first where my company Okanagan Dance Party is the official sound provider for the event.
We come back year after year because of the opportunity it provides to showcase our company to hundreds of brides who are ready to book their vendors on the spot. One hour into the event last year we had already booked two events. By the end of the day, our summer was filling up. I participated in the Okanagan Bridal Expo this past winter and was very pleased with the results.
I loved how the vendors were arranged throughout Prospera Place, the vendors offering the same services were spread throughout the arena enabling the potential clients to feel comfortable talking to each vendor.
This arrangement also allowed us vendors to meet each other and find out about their services that we could potentially refer our clients to.
My clients response to the show was fabulous! For the next couple of months I continued to meet with clients that I met at the show and continued to book weddings.
Overall I found my experience with the Okanagan Bridal Expo to be a very positive one and look forward to participating in their future expos!
